Ive been using the site for months and months but only a few days however. Its great practice for me when Im at home. The only thing is I rarely feel like using my computer. I bought this app hoping for it to be similar to the site... Its actually better. The interface if super user friendly. It has a speed level, length level, it even keeps track of the fingerspelled words you get right. I am definitely, DEFINITELY going to use this daily. Thanks Dr. V

For people that need work on F.S. and/or receptive skills this is a must buy. It is very helpful. In the past I would use this on the computer. Now that this is an app makes it even better. Can practice anywhere, anytime.

My wife and I are learning ASL and this is a great way to practice. I like being able to choose word length, or select a random length. The range of the finger spelling speed is very helpful. Great app. Using it on an iPhone 5.

This is exactly what I need. I was worried how it would look on an iPad. With the 2x, the image still looks good. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I have been using asluniversitys online classes to become more comfortable and finger spelling has always been a difficult area for me. This is a great tool to help exercise my brain to become a more capable signer.

This app is great for the beginning and intermediate signer, but the fast setting isnt fast enough for me. Hopefully the next upgrade will have the option for Deaf speed+++. It would also be nice to choose from a variety of backgrounds, skin tones, child/adult-sized hands, etc.

This app is incredibly helpful for teaching receptive fingerspelling skills. You can also fingerspell along with the app and then you are able to get receptive and productive practice at the same time. Lets you slow down or speed up the speed of the words, choose the size of words you want and has a very large database so that you arent seeing the same words over and over. Currently this app is only listed as an iphone app, but it works great on the ipad as well.

I love this app! It is great for practicing your reading ability for fingerspelling. It is one thing to fingerspell and another to actually be able to understand when some one is fingerspelling to you. This app helps you recognize and understand. I love that you can change the speed and the number of letters in the words that are being fingerspelled.

This app is EXACTLY what I need to improve my fingerspelling (and reading) speed. However, the one area I struggle with even more is numbers! I wish there were a numbers tab to help me in that area. Maybe next version? :)

Used to be fantastic, but the "updates" have screwed it up! Now, after seeing a word finger spelled, there is no way to get to a new word. The only way is to waste time and type in an answer every time. If I know a word, I want to get on to the next word - I dont need a smiley face to validate my knowledge. Please fix this!!! I dont know why anything was changed (iOS 7?). Its seriously a problem. I loved this app - I even sent the desktop version creator money years ago, I liked it so much. Now, however, its not worth the time. Fix the dang buttons so there are 2 options: repeat & next word. Hell, a decent high school geek could fix this app. Get it together! Update: Its fixed!!! Awesome job! Best app on my iphone now - even better looking on ipad. This is the best fingerspelling app out there by far.

The app has been restored to its former glory! Its fantastic! You can now jump to a new word without having to type the old one. Perfect! Thanks for making the fix! This app is a no brainier. OF COURSE you should buy it... Especially if you are a serious sign student or in ITP. Worth every penny.

Hey this is a great app. The photos are good and there is a great variety of words. You can choose the speed of fingerspelling and length of the words. Its fun too, like a game. Ive gotten a lot better at recognizing fingerspelled words after practicing with this app. Also you should get it because Bill Vicars is really cool. :)

Has helped me improve my fingerspelling! Dramatically!

I was surprised how quickly I went from knowing nothing to being able to read the longer words at a fast speed. The adjustable word length and speed ensures this app wont become obsolete and is useful at any skill level.

This app has helped me tremendously. My receptive skills have improved drastically. I am now reading the fingerspelling, rather than trying to "say" each letter in my head. I highly recommend this easy and effective app.
